Dartmouth Music Festival has always featured significantly for us on a personal level as when we came to Dartmouth as a couple for the first time in 2003 and stayed at the Dart Marina Hotel, we stumbled on the Music Festival purely by accident. We had no idea when we booked our weekend away that Dartmouth had this fabulous event.
Its safe to say, we loved it and have been back every year since!
We were hooked
So it goes without saying that we are hugely excited that, in the 20th Year of Dartmouth Music Festival, we are part of it this year not only as our first year as residents but as business owners with a boat on the river! AND to cap all that, we have the local legend that is Nick The Fish joining us on board for two fabulous 'up close and personal ' concerts for 12 lucky people.
Nick The Fish is someone else we stumbled across by accident in the Dolphin Pub. It was a Friday evening, having just arrived in Dartmouth, again on Music Festival week grabbed two bar stools and a wine or two and chatted and then this guy appeared in dreadlocks and wearing crocs, set him self up and began playing his eclectic mix of music and the tempo of the whole place changed.
Nick sang everything from jungle book to Motorhead and anything in between! He took requests, people were dancing, singing and having a ball.
Again we were hooked and have seen him many many times over the years at various venues.
So to be in beautiful Dartmouth, with a business on the River, during Music Festival AND have Nick The Fish on board is damn near perfection.
Dartmouth Music Festival in its 20th Year takes place this year 2019 on May 10th, 11th and 12th so a whole weekend of musical fun.

Saturday 11th May 4pm-5pm
Sunday 12th May 12 - 1pm
